i think it’s on the sleeve of one of the discs. maybe disc 1, or 4? i don’t remember, but it’s around there somewhere. welcome to WoW!

I’m planning to make my own World of Warcraft private server.
When I mean Private Server, I mean a server like Curse.com
Where people from around my state or country and connect and play together. Where they can donate for limited items and everything else a typical Private Server would have.
Is there a tutorial to do this? If there isn’t, could you explain to me the basic on how to do so?
Is payment required?

I know they can donate and such, but if they donate for limited time items and such… You would need to make sure it goes toward the server upkeep and not for personal use. Watch out, if Blizzard Entertainment finds out and you are making money while doing it… You could be warned by Blizzard to shut down. I have seen it many times, and which Expansion you want to use? Youtube has great tutorials, and I wouldn’t charge to have them use the private server, thats just like playing on the retail server offered by Blizzard.
Depending on what your private server is about… I would definitely suggest starting out a normal rate server and if you get requests… Open another one for instant-80s (Lich King) or instant-85s (Cataclysm), its the best way to get your word out about your private server. But 1 rule of thumb, NEVER EVER EVER SPAM ON RETAIL SERVERS OR OFFICIAL FORUMS! LOL Good luck, email me if you need help and I will help you.

Question by lax man: Can you download new world of warcraft patches without using the world of warcraft launcher?
The launcher like the screen that says play in the bottom right corner. When i open the launcher it says theres an error but i can open world of warcraft the application. so would i still be able to play by downloading patches somewhere else? Or will it automatically start installing or what?

World of Warcraft is a pretty poor religion.
As far as playing it if you are a religious person, why would any religion care what you do for fun as long as you are not hurting people.

Maybe you’re thinking about the free trial? It’s a 14 day trial, the cards for them are sold in most game stores (like GameStop) for $ 1.99. The trial isn’t the full game though – you only can gain a few levels, you can’t trade with other players, etc.
As far as the full game itself – there isn’t a way, aside from hacking someone’s account. It’s a paid game, with no exceptions.
If you’re looking for a free MMORPG, a couple other games you could check out are Runescape (www.runescape.com) and Maple Story (www.mapleglobal.com).

In the text area on the interface of world of warcraft, whenever someone speaks or i speak, i cant see what it says. It also doesn’t show the message i whisper to people or raid or just any chat i type or that people type. Why is this happening? Is there a solution to this problem? Please help.

Try right clicking the “General” tab over where your message would usually show up and go down to “settings” from there you can look at all avaliable channels to you from guild, whisper to trade and looking for group. You may have them clicked off if they are still clicked on then you may havve to go into your world of warcraft folder and run the repair, hope that helps..
